HLC Neonate is a combination of four strains of proprietary, human-sourced probiotics that promotes intestinal health in young children. The human intestinal tract contains more than 400 bacterial species, and a healthy bacterial balance is necessary for a healthy gastrointestinal tract. Probiotics promote the presence of beneficial bacteria, and strengthen the epithelial barrier. Probiotics transiently impact the host’s microflora, as once their ingestion ends, they decline in numbers.
