OST assists in the assimilation of calcium and other minerals to promote bone strength and increase bone density. As such it is indicated in the treatment of osteopenia and osteoporosis and other conditions involving demineralization of bone or dysfunctional calcification. It may be used synergistically with JNT. Parathyroid gland is used for its ability to maintain blood levels of ionized calcium by stimulating the release of parathormone and calcitonin as needed by the body. The litho Calcaire de Versailles makes calcium more available for assimilation. Abies pectinata promotes calcium absorption. Rubus fructicosus stimulates osteoblastic activity, as does Sequoia gigantea. Additionally, Rubus suppresses osteoclast formation.
