Pancreatin
Pancreatin provides the full spectrum of pancreatic enzymes essential in the digestion of food and the absorption of nutrients. Lipases and amylases are naturally occuring in pancreatin, along with protease, chymotrypsin and trypsin. The implications of impaired or sub-optimal digestion on general health are profound and wide-ranging since the delivery of the basic nutrients for health are blocked from reaching their destinations in the body. Pancreatic enzyme supplementation is crucial for a variety of conditions, such as food allergies, autoimmune diseases and inflammation. Pancreatin is indicated for chronic and acute pancreatitis, autoimmune disorders, multiple sclerosis, viral infections, parotiditis; and for inflammatory conditions, including allergies, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and soft tissue trauma. Pancreatin is recommended for digestive disturbances such as bloating, indigestion, lactose intolerance, constipation and diarrhea; and for allergies, hay fever and lymphatic congestion.
